What to wear under a V-neck sweater

Talking about the most selling sweaters in the men's section, V Neck sweaters have to be introduced.

V-Neck sweaters

V Neck sweaters can be both practical and attractive adding visual appeal and dimensionality to a man's ensembles, particularly when layered with other items.

While several sweaters can be used as layering pieces, the V-neck reigns supreme. V- neckline style, that are being sold in Exemore, reveals the tie and collar of the dressed pattern shirt underneath. This is not only the advantage of these streamlined V Neckline sweaters, its fabric is soft and smooth enough to wear under a sport coat or even a suit jacket.

The V-necks look dressier than their crewneck counterparts even though worn on their own. Undoubtedly, the V-neck style is a perfect outfit to dress casually at work because of its lightweight and the ability to take it off when it gets chilly. Also, it's an excellent option for going to a play or a holiday party.

However, you must wear the V-neck sweater correctly to keep it looking sharp.

The dos and don'ts of proper styling:

Wear a V-Neck Sweater that is well-fitting. Now let's have a look at the other side of the fit don'ts. In a V-neck sweater with a good fit:

- The sweater's body can hug your chest and arms loosely without revealing your muscle definition (or lack thereof) or the contours of the shirt you're wearing underneath; the sweater won't be entirely smooth, and some rippling in the fabric is to be anticipated — you don't want excess bunching.

- The bottom hem should fall just below your belt buckle, about 2 inches below it.

- The V-collar on your dress shirt should be narrow enough to touch and cover the tips of the collar.

- At or above the tops of your armpits, the bottom of the V of the collar should touch.

- Shoulder seams should be aligned with the point where your arms and shoulders intersect.

- Sleeves stop where your wrist bends (having 1/4′′ of your dress shirt cuff stretch past the end of the sweater sleeve may look nice).

- It would be almost impossible to modify a sweater if it does not fit well right off the rack. When trying on a sweater, make sure you're wearing the same kind of patterned shirt you'll be wearing under the sweater once you've purchased it.

v-neck sweater outfits

Having a V-neckline sweater is a great plus when you wake up late and you want to catch your appointment.Yet, if you want to pair your sweater in different stylish outfits, you can read the following.

1-Over a collared shirt

A V-neck sweater's formality matches well with a dress shirt's smooth, buttery wool; pick an Oxford button-down or a button-up with semi-spread collar in a white or light blue color — a shirt with a pattern will fit, but it becomes more difficult to match with your sweater and tie.

Since the cutout collar shows off and frames the collar of your dress shirt and tie, a dress shirt is also the perfect underlayer for V-neck sweaters. You don't have to wear a tie with your dress shirt and V-neck sweater ensemble, but it's a nice touch.

2-Under a sport coat- Sport jacket

Of course, The V-neck sweater's layering possibilities don't stop with the tops it can be worn over, but even with the jackets it can be worn under: it looks great under a sport coat or blazer.

Keep in mind that when layering, you want to go from lightest to heaviest textures — so your dress shirt is the smoothest item, the sweater provides a little more texture, and finally, a sport coat with even more roughness/chunkiness serves as your outermost layer (you can put an overcoat or pea coat on top of all that too, of course).

3-Under a suit coat

To be precise, A V-neck sweater can also be worn under a suit jacket — a blue or purple sweater with a grey suit is a great look.

You may find that wearing a knit vest to achieve the same aesthetic effect with less bunching/constriction in the arms is more convenient, but if you'll be out in the cold for a long time, getting that full-sleeved additional layer over your shirt and under your jacket would be very welcome.

You don't have to adhere to the lightest-to-heaviest layering rule in this case; all of your layers will be fairly smooth, which is fine.
