What to wear to top golf?
You may be wondering what to wear if you've recently been invited to Topgolf or are planning a trip with a group of friends. We did some digging to make sure you're properly attired for your next visit to Golf's coolest casual hangout.
With more than 58 Topgolf locations around the world, 28 in the United States, and new ones opening every month, there's a good chance you'll visit one soon.
If you've never been to Topgolf, it's similar to a late-night bowling alley, complete with lights, music, and food and alcohol. (How far is the net at TopGolf?) It's a driving range. People of all ability levels are welcome to try their hand at getting it close to the flag.
It is enjoyable for both men and women, golfers and non-golfers. But because you've come to find out what to wear, allow us to assist you.
Is there a Top Golf dress code?
There is no dress code at Topgolf, and it will not be like playing golf on a regular course. You'll see a variety of shorts and tee shirts, as well as casual apparel that allows you to swing a golf club, depending on the time of year. Since you are not allowed to play golf when visiting Topgolf, you are free to dress however you want.

Can you play Top Golf in flip-flops?
The only rule we've discovered about footwear at Topgolf is that you must wear some kind of footwear. You are not allowed to play barefoot. Any comfortable shoe, including flip flops, sandals, boots, and sneakers, is appropriate. To play at Topgolf, you do not need to purchase a pair of golf shoes.
Is it freezing at Top Golf?
Topgolf's temperature varies depending on the season, but they do have heaters for those cold nights. On chilly evenings, a light jacket or sweatshirt can be appropriate. Again, there are heaters, but you might want to wear a light jacket or a long-sleeved top to keep you comfortable during your stay.
