When it comes to UGG boots, one of the most often asked questions is whether they should be worn with or without socks. True UGG boots (made from genuine Australian sheepskin) can never be worn with socks, and there's a reason for that.
Australian Made
Here at UGG Australian Made, we have over forty-five years of experience crafting and selling the finest UGG boots. We've been thriving on the consistency and natural benefits of our A-Grade Merino Wool since 1974, and we're dedicated to showing our customers how they can, too!
Fibers
Our A-Grade Merino wool has smooth, hollow, miracle fibers that act as a natural ventilator and insulator, regulating body temperature from the scorching shores of Australia to the slopes of the Swiss Alps. Allowing the skin to come into close contact with the wool is the best way to feel the magic of these fibers. This means you shouldn't wear socks with your UGGs, which are manufactured in Australia.
Authentic Moisture wicking and temperature regulating properties in Australian sheepskin, such as ours, enable this luxurious and durable skin to regulate its microclimate. This is impossible to do without direct skin touch. The ability of wool to control body temperature in any environment provides invaluable health benefits. One is that body temperature control facilitates blood pressure regulation, which is an important part of general health and well-being.
Great steps
Wearing socks with your UGGs to shield them from the brunt of your inevitably gross foot odor might have been your first thought. UGG boots, on the other hand, were made to be worn without socks in the first place. In reality, if your feet are still clean when you put them on, your UGGs do not stink after a few hours of wear. The natural fibers present inside the skin, as well as the moisture-wicking and ventilation properties of sheepskin, contribute to this. Synthetic or low-quality sheepskin, on the other hand, does not allow your feet to breathe as freely as natural sheepskin, causing your boots to smell much more quickly.
We deprive ourselves, to some degree, of the priceless natural properties that these fibers have to give by wearing socks. However, since wearing socks is a personal choice, we recommend only wearing socks made of natural fibers like wool or cotton with your sheepskin boots to ensure that the synthetic fibers do not compete with the natural fibers inside the wool. Take it from the experts, however. Remove your socks and enjoy the advantages of A-Grade Merino wool.
7 Things I've Learned About Ugg Boots
1- They feel so amazing on your feet the first time you put them on that you want to weep.
2- They are extremely hot.
3- I would not suggest wearing Ugg’s without socks because of reason.
4- Because of Reason number two, I wouldn't suggest taking them off in the car and putting your feet up on the dashboard as your husband takes you somewhere in the winter. Your toes will be so warm that they will cause the windshield to fog up, and you will be mocked for your sweaty feet. My feet were "toasty," not "sweaty," as I kept telling him. He, on the other hand, was not convinced.
5- They're adorable because they're so rare.
6- Pair them with black leggings for a stylish look.
7- For Christmas, I should have asked for a pair.
